Teleferic, or the humble cable car, was the least used emoji somewhere mid 2018.  To me, it symbolises travel and a bridge across cultures.

In the past 7 years, I have birthed three babies, worked five jobs, lived in four countries and traveled to many others. Becoming a mother in 'foreign' countries has prompted me to want to understand how others handle concepts of identity and belonging. Whilst Dublin, Amsterdam and Melbourne have been a joy, it is Shanghai and China that have made the most lasting impression.

This blog is a gallery of portraits, itineraries and experiences that interrogate multiculturalism, expatriation, the fundamentals of curiosity and the fluidity of identity.
